Janis Joplin’s Customized 1965 Porsche is Going To Auction

Janis Joplin’s wildly painted 1965 Porsche 356C Cabriolet is set to be auctioned off this December by RM Sotheby’s in New York City. Janis bought the Porsche in September 1968 (it was white originally) and had a friend customize it with the psychedelic mural. She drove it as her daily driver until she died of a drug overdose in 1970. The Porsche has been sitting at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland for the past two decades and was given a full restoration in the early 90’s.

The car is expected to bring in around $400,000.

The Jenner Boys – Out Playing With Mom’s Toys

It appears that one of the Jenner boys was celebrating a birthday this weekend and they must have asked Caitlyn (aka mom) if they could take out her Porsche GT3RS.

Magnus Walker Just Lost a Tremendous Amount of Street Cred

We shared a post on Facebook a few days ago regarding Magnus Walker’s Porsche that was damaged at a Porsche event in Minneapolis. Prior to now, I had thought it was backed into but today it came out that he lost control of the vehicle with a reporter in the vehicle.

No one was injured but it goes to show that you never know what will happen and that closed courses are the best place for spirited driving!

Yo Gotti’s TBT (Lambo and Porsche Panamera)

I’m by no means a fan of Yo Gotti and I can’t name a single song of his but I’m guessing he’s doing something right. Here is a quick little TBT he shared this past week and a nice little shot of what he’s driving now!

I Guess It Pays To Be An IndyCar Driver

I have no clue what you get paid when you are a professional race car driver in the IndyCar Series but Graham Rahal got my attention when he took delivery of his Viper Green Porsche 918.  I swore this color was Signal Green but after doing some looking I guess it’s called Viper Green now. Either way, Graham must be getting PAID!
