When you are one of the best race car drivers in the world, it’s kind of expected your personal car is something sporty, raw and of course powerful. Sure enough Tanner Foust’s new Porsche GT3 is just that! He recently posted on Instagram a picture of his new beast with the caption, “Love at first sight? Thanks @pacificporsche !!! 40 miles down 40000 to go! #becauseGT3”. We are just glad to see that Porsche in the hands of a proper owner!
We recently showed you Stephen Curry with his new Porsche GT3 RS, and although that car is incredible, it wouldn’t make for a very good daily driver. Continuing though with the Porsche theme, he has also picked up an all black Porsche Panamera which would be much more appropriate for cruising around the bay area on a regular basis.
Jordan Clarkson has a bright future with the NBA and with the possibility of a contract in the multi-millions in the near future, it only seems right that he is riding around in something commendable. Like many athletes, he has opted for the Porsche Panamera which is not only very luxurious but also wicked fast!
Celebrity Cars Blog Tip of the Day: If you ever stumble upon a classic old Porsche sitting in a barn somewhere collecting dust.. BUY IT!
The always exciting Mike Wolfe from the show American Pickers was fortunate enough to pick up an early 1960s Porsche 356 to add to his collection, and seems to be enjoying it in proper fashion. Even with fully restored examples selling for over $150K, he has chosen to keep much of the cars original patina. Driving down some Tennessee back roads in a classic Porsche 356 is definitely something we inspire to be doing someday!
‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’ host, Jerry Seinfeld and his friend and ‘Car Matchmaker’ host, Spike Feresten were spotted hanging out in Malibu with Jerry’s classic 1960’s Porsche 356. The last time we saw Jerry, he had broke down on the side of the road with this other Porsche 356.
Unforunately we can’t tell from the photos if Jerry and Spike were driving separately or not, but we do know Spike has his own sweet car collection. While not quite as expansive as Jerry’s (who’s is), it’s still pretty impressive and includes a 1971 Land Rover Series IIA, his own 1958 Porsche 356A Speedster, a 1968 911L lightweight Trans-Am factory race car, a 1972 Ferrari 365 GTC/4, and a 2007 911 GT3 RS as his daily driver.
What we wouldn’t give to hang with these two for a day!
