Rowan Atkinson’s McLaren F1 Is Back In Action

Remember when Rowan Atkinson crashed his McLaren F1 into a tree last year -- it wasn't pretty -- actually it was pretty scary looking. Fortunately, Atkinson was able to walk away from the crash with only a relatively minor injury but his McLaren was mangled to the point where we thought for sure it wouldn't be fixed. Turns out it wasn't a complete write off after all. McLaren's Special Operations division decided the F1 was actually a repair job with an estimated cost of £910,000 (1.4 million dollars). The insurance company paid out to fix it and officially make it the most expensive insurance payout ever recorded in Britain.

So what did Atkinson do once the car was fixed -- drive it of course. He wasted no time at all getting back into the drivers seat. Lets just hope he steers clear of the trees this time!

Dwyane Wade must have thought he was still dreamin when he woke up to a McLaren birthday gift sitting in his driveway. D-Wade took a nap yesterday and woke up to ANOTHER McLaren MP4-12C from Coral Gables, FL dealership, The Collection. It's no secret Wade is pretty tight with the dealership (he's pretty much the face of their website) and not to mention this is actually the second MP4-12C they've "gifted" him. In other words, they just want him to drive another one around, but hey -- that's fine with us! Wade posted this photo collage on Instagram. What do you think of the red? Like it more than the black one they gave him before or not?

Think I'll go take a nap now and dream of a McLaren showing up in the driveway...

And correct me if I'm wrong but aside from Dwayne Wade who was given a McLaren MP4-12C I think Sir-Mix-Alot is one of the first celeb, artist, or athlete to really step up to the plate and buy one of these!
