The Cuban Missile Car Collection

I don’t give baseball players that much attention but if I were to see Aroldis Chapman in one of his customized whips I might do a double take. Personally, I would ditch the Rhinos, cop a nice G Wagon, stick with stock wheels on the Aventador and ditch the flat black on the Rolls but that’s just me.

Dan Bilzerian Style: Knight Conquest or G63 6×6

By now, you probably know who Dan Bilzerian is, if not, do a quick Google search and be prepared to have an opinion one way or the other.  So besides his Mercedes G63 6×6 which he recently took delivery of in LA, he has also been spending sometime out in Miami/Ft Lauderdale with Adam Gordon of the The Ft Lauderdale Collection and rolling around in a Knight Conquest (Gurkha) which is currently for sale at the FLC.  My guess is that Dan either has one on order or feels he’s rather be driving the G63.

What do you think? Which does he like more? The Knight or G63 6X6?

Slowbucks Gurkha

Okay I’ll be honest, I’ve never heard of Slowbucks but apparently it’s a clothing brand but what I can put together is that Meek Mill runs around with these guys and it’s likely who’s Gurkha we saw him hanging off earlier this summer.  Anyways Meek was out running around with these guys this weekend and I couldn’t help but notice they were standing on the hood of this thing.  But for the first time, it didn’t bother me.  This thing is a tank and can handle it.

The Gurkha is The New G-Wagon

The Gurkha in Fast Five

The Gurkha in Fast Five

For the ten plus years the G-Wagon has had not only an iconic look here in the US, it also commanded a unique respect for its miliatry looks and implied safety. Many celebrities drive it and many hi-profile execs and government officials are even rumored to have bullet proof versions built out by TAC in Texas.

But looking at the recent news of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian buying two Gurkha Trucks, and most recently, J.R. Smith of the New York Knicks was spotted riding in one, I’d say the G-Wagon is out and the Gurkha is in.

Now before you go looking around to learn all about the Gurkha, let me tell you this really isn’t something new.  The Gurkha is built by the Canadian company Terradyne Armored Vehicles Inc.  They currently build three version of the vehicle and each is built on top of the Ford F550 chassis.  If you are wandering where you might have seen this before, you might be recognizing the Gurkha from Fast Five.

Oh, and did I mention that Marc Ecko has actually been driving one of these since 2010 and that we’ve recently seen Meek Mill riding like a hooligan on the side of one as well.  No word who owns the one Meek Mill is pictured with.
