Mark Wahlberg’s Cadillac Escalade Gets Customized

When you’re Mark Wahlberg and you have a garage full of cars including Bentley’s, Mercedes’ and Porsche’s you certainly can’t add a plain jane stock Escalade to the mix. Mark recently brought his Cadillac down to the guys at West Coast Customs for a little overhaul (OK, a big overhaul). The interior was completely stripped so that an automated partition could be added as well as ergonomic recliner seats, a┬áDirecTV satellite link with LCD monitors and retracting table-tops (for when Mark needs to do a little business from the backseat). Of course the outside needed a little something too so they blacked it out and added new wheels and suspension.

It’s pretty nice but do you like it better than Beckham’s Escalade??

I dont know maybe its just me. First picture there, I thought it was an old ford explorer, gmc or something used. So just the fact that Mark goes wow when approaching the car makes no sense to me. Its nothing special or great looking. Interior also I think that even Cadillac does better and would customize it better. And whats with that speaker next to your ear and the small screen. If you cannot fit a normal size make it swing down from the celling. And overall whats so special about the interior that it blew all his high expectation out of the water ? If they would at least look at cars like Audi A8L or S class or Bentleys… for inspiration and work from there.
Whats really surprising to me is that Wahlberg probabily has an S class or a Rolls at home yet still IMO is not able to differentiate between quality and some average design.
I dunno, maybe Im just cranky today but I dont get it.

I’m throwing in my money for beckham’s escalade. I don’t seen anything noteworthy on this one.
